Located in the heart of Delaware’s historic Northwest Neighborhood, Delaware Northwest Veterinary Clinic is proud to call this community home.
Our building has been part of the neighborhood for generations, with a history dating back to the 1800s. Originally a barn, it later became a neighborhood grocery store before eventually becoming the home of DNVC. We love knowing that this building has served the community in different ways throughout its history, and we’re proud to continue that tradition in our own way.
When we opened our doors on November 2021, we wanted to create more than just a place to bring your pet for veterinary care. We wanted to create a neighborhood clinic where people feel welcome, relationships matter, and you know and trust the people caring for your pet. Our team is made up of kind and compassionate people who genuinely love what we do and understand that your pets are more than patients - they are companions, family members, and some of your very best friends.
That understanding is at the heart of how we practice veterinary medicine. We want you to feel comfortable asking questions, confident in the care your pet receives, and supported along the way - from those first puppy or kitten visits through their senior years.
As DNVC continues to grow, we’re grateful to build our own chapter in the history of this special place and to create lasting relationships with the pets and people who walk through our doors.
